Fitment: Porsche 6-speed
The J0IX shift knob truly speaks for itself as a high end masterpiece of craftsmanship blended with a rare piece of collectable artwork, appealing to goal oriented minds seeking the best builds as well as connoisseurs who have a taste for the unique and rare.
Each J0IX shift knob begins life from a specific selection of choice hardwoods and is then handcrafted with over 8 hours of attention to detail while laminating, cutting, turning, shaping, sanding, casting, and finishing that takes place over 3 consecutive weeks as great pride is taken to ensure proper curing times, as well as every detail that high quality products demand. This process leads to an end result of raw beauty and an investment that will provide great longevity.
These sought after knobs simply contain the time of craftsmanship and labor of love that make them extremely limited in production and very rare to find available.
The standard knob listed here comes with a clear top, black background, and silver shift pattern (shown in the first two photos). Specialty knobs are sometimes available and will be listed separately. We update the listings on a regular basis every week.
Some features are:
- Three dimensional shift pattern cast within clear "fish eye" convex top.
- Lamination process is pressure cast in a mold as a solid single piece.
- Top quality marine grade epoxy resin infuses each layer after a vacuum chamber and is UV protected, along with another 3 layers of additional UV protected catalyzed and stabilized clear coat.
- Attachment base is billet 7075 aluminum featuring a series of multiple lockdown screws that secure the knob rigidly in place. Bases are available in anodized Black, Silver, or Bronze/Brown.
- Height of knob is adjustable in a range anywhere from lowest position (-10mm from stock) to highest position (+30mm from stock).
- Leather boot attachment clamp (silver piece) is installed underneath shift boot. It's made from billet 7075 aluminum featuring 4 boot clamping bolts as well as an additional lockdown screw to give extra peace of mind that this rigid assembly is not moving or sliding anywhere, at all.
